Rosa is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of practice, offering a safe and welcoming space for adults to heal and grow. Specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and pregnancy and postpartum transitions, Rosa utilizes evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), and EMDR to help clients find strength and resilience.
Before relocating to Wisconsin, Rosa provided trauma-focused therapy to survivors of sexual assault at UCLA-Santa Monica Medical Center’s Rape Treatment Center. She later oversaw their 24-hour crisis-response services, offering immediate care to those in need.
In addition to her private practice, Rosa teaches in the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program at Edgewood College and serves as a senior lead clinician at SSM Health Behavioral Health Services. She offers flexible virtual appointments, including evenings and weekends, to provide care when it's most convenient.
