Jessica Gutierrez

MSW, LCSW, CSAC, ICS

Jessica (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and Intermediate Clinical Supervisor in the State of Wisconsin.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has 18 years of professional experience across many settings. She has provided  mental health therapy and clinical supervision over the course of her career with teens and families in the areas of developmental and complex trauma, anxiety, adjustment, relationships, behavioral challenges, family conflict, ADHD, depression and co-occurring diagnoses.

 

In her current practice, Jessica specializes in the areas of trauma, anxiety, panic and chronic pain as well as supporting those who identify difficulties with relationships, communication, self-esteem, boundaries and identity. Other focus areas: life transitions, secondary trauma, chronic stress, burnout, parenting teens and young adults, ADHD, depression and autoimmunity. She has a special interest in working with young adults, women, BIPOC, immigrants of color, LGBTQIA+ as well as highly sensitive, intuitive and/or creative people.

 

Jessica offers a body-oriented, holistic approach that includes the whole being in the healing process. Somatic Experiencing and IFS/Ego State approaches are her primary models. Additionally, Jessica’s work is informed by a background in a wide variety of modalities such as motivational interviewing, CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, IRRT, focusing, narrative therapy as well as transformational, intuitive and creative practices. Her approach to healing is collaborative and at a pace that sets you up to succeed. You can expect compassionate curiosity, warmth, presence, creativity, humor and authenticity.

 

 

Jessica sees adults 18+ and offers virtual sessions Sunday-Thursday.
